Technical architecture
The integration uses Oracle's published REST APIs (Recruiting Cloud REST API, HCM REST API, Talent Management REST API). Authentication via OAuth 2.0 — skaills operates with a dedicated service account from your Oracle tenant, with minimum necessary scopes. Data transits via HTTPS (TLS 1.2+); skaills never stores Oracle credentials, only short-lived access tokens. Oracle Integration Cloud webhooks (when using the bidirectional option) land at a dedicated skaills Cloud Function (`oracleHcmWebhook`) with signature verification. All skaills-side logic is serverless, so there's no additional infrastructure your team needs to operate.
