Focused scope
One process. One workflow. One pain point you've been trying to solve. We pick something tractable and high-impact.
Three weeks, locked
From kickoff to measurable results. Week 1: deploy. Week 2: collect data. Week 3: report + decisions.
Money-back if not
If we don't deliver the measurable results we agreed on upfront, you don't pay. We absorb the cost.
The three weeks, week by week
What happens, what you do, what we deliver.
Week 0 — Scoping (1-2 days, free, before the clock starts)
We meet with your team. You bring the problem; we ask sharp questions. By the end of this conversation we've agreed on: the specific process/workflow, the success metric (what counts as measurable), the data we'll need from your side, the people involved, and the deliverable shape. Nothing starts until both sides sign off on this scope.
Week 1 — Deploy
skaills is configured for your scope. Profiles, evaluations, simulations, or AI-augmented workflows are stood up against your real data. Your team gets onboarded — typically a 90-minute session for the people who'll use it directly. By Friday of week 1, the pilot is live in production conditions.
Week 2 — Collect data
Real candidates, real employees, real workflows run through the configured skaills surface. We monitor closely and adjust in real time when needed. Mid-week we have a 30-min checkpoint with your sponsor: "is the data flowing? is the experience as expected? any surprises?"
Week 3 — Report and decide
We deliver the measurement report: did we hit the success metric? Where did skaills outperform? Where did it underperform? What's the case for scaling vs stopping? We present in person (or via video) and answer questions live. You make the decision: scale, modify, or walk away. If we missed the metric, the money-back kicks in.
What kinds of pilots fit in 3 weeks
Each example is illustrative — your actual pilot is co-designed with your team.
Speed up one recruitment funnel
Pick a position you're filling. skaills runs every applicant through the 7-step recruitment flow: define the role, open the doors, score every CV, rank with AI insights, simulate the role, interview prep, decide together.
Diagnose one department's AI readiness
20-100 employees take the AI-Readiness diagnostic. Result: capability heatmap + a 90-day roadmap that's actionable Monday morning.
Build growth plans for a leadership team
5-15 leaders complete built-in psychometrics (Cognitive · Personality · Aptitude · DISC) plus competency evaluations, then receive AI-generated Personal Growth Plans validated by their managers.
Run one scenario simulation against a real workflow
We adapt one of our finance/operations simulators (variance investigation, AML triage, cash crisis, committee defense) to your actual workflow.
Quantify your climate-survey blind spot
Run a focused climate survey on one department, with skaills's diagnostic. Surface what's missing from your existing engagement data.
Your scope here
Tell us the bottleneck. We'll co-design a tractable 3-week proof. Some bottlenecks aren't a good fit for 3 weeks — we'll tell you upfront if that's the case.
The money-back guarantee
We charge a fixed fee for the 3-week pilot. The fee depends on scope but typically falls in a clear range we agree on before signing.
If at the end of week 3 we have not delivered the measurable result we agreed on in scoping, you pay nothing. We refund the fee. No fine print, no "but you didn't do X." Either we hit the metric or we don't.
- Success metric is defined together, in writing, before week 1 starts
- Metric is measurable — a number, a rate, a verifiable outcome — not a vibe
- If we hit the metric: you pay the fee and decide whether to scale
- If we miss: full refund, you keep all the data + insights we produced
What we won't pilot in 3 weeks
Honesty: not every problem fits in 3 weeks. We'll tell you upfront if your scope is wrong for this format.
- • Org-wide transformation that needs 6+ months of change management
- • Anything requiring data we'd have to collect from scratch over 8+ weeks
- • Cultural shifts — those need years, not weeks; we can pilot a single intervention but not the shift itself
If your problem doesn't fit, we'll say so and either reshape the scope or recommend a different engagement. We'd rather lose the pilot than promise something we can't deliver.
Common questions
Who runs the pilot from skaills's side?
A senior strategist owns the engagement end-to-end — same person from scoping through final report. They're backed by our engineering team for the technical setup.
What do we need to prepare?
A sponsor (usually a director-level decision-maker), 2-5 people from the team that'll use the pilot, access to whatever data the pilot needs (we'll specify in scoping). That's it. We bring the rest.
Can we run multiple pilots in parallel?
Yes, but we recommend doing the first one solo. Once the pattern is proven, parallelizing is straightforward.
What happens after the pilot succeeds?
You decide. The pilot is designed to give you the information you need to commit to scaling — or not. If you scale, the engagement transitions to a standard skaills subscription (annual or per-seat depending on scope). The pilot fee is credited against the first quarter of the subscription.
Can we keep the data and insights even if we don't continue?
Yes. Everything we produce during the pilot is yours. The report, the configured profiles, the candidate evaluations, the dashboards. You can export and walk away with all of it.
