Terms of Use
skaills.ai · Version 2026.10.09.2 · Effective 9 October 2026
These terms govern the use of skaills.ai and its tools (the «Service»). By using the Service you accept them. Where we ask you to tick a box — when you apply to a position, answer an assessment invitation or send an AI Staff request — we record the version you accepted and the time. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.
In short: skaills measures and supports; it does not hire. Results are advisory, and the organizations that use skaills make, and answer for, their own decisions. AI-generated content can be wrong, so review it before you rely on it. Sit your own assessments honestly. Nothing is sold through the site today: paid services for organizations are agreed in writing.
1. Who provides the Service
The Service is provided by CEMI Collectively Enhanced Multiple Intelligence, Inc., a Delaware C Corporation (Delaware file no. 10647705, EIN 32-0859414), 7801 NW 37th St, DO80Q56188N, Doral, FL 33195, United States («CEMI», «we», «us»). Organizations that contract skaills with a Dominican invoice contract with COLLECTIVELY ENHANCED MULTIPLE INTELLIGENCE CEMI AI SRL, trade name CEMI.ai, RNC 133-76027-4, Calle Rafael F. Bonnelly No. 17, Evaristo Morales, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, under the agreement they sign.
Contact: support@skaills.ai (help), legal@skaills.ai (legal notices), privacy@skaills.ai (personal data), business@skaills.ai (commercial).
2. What the Service is
skaills is an HR transformation platform. It handles mechanical HR work — competency evaluations by profile, cognitive, aptitude, personality and DISC tests, CV tools, salary estimates, interview and skill simulators, recruitment campaigns, job postings, pre-screening, certificates — and supports the work that needs human judgment, with tools such as growth plans, AI-readiness assessments, career paths and organizational transformation plans.
- Free use: many tools can be used without an account and without charge. Individual tools that use AI may have a usage allowance (for example, a number of runs per month), which we may change.
- Organizations: plans for organizations are agreed by quote or written agreement; that agreement prevails over these terms where they differ. No payment is taken through the site today. If online payment is introduced, terms of sale and a refund policy will be published first.
- We may change, add or remove features. We do not promise that any feature will remain available.
3. Accounts
- Sign-in is provided by xAId, CEMI's identity service. Keep your credentials secure; you are responsible for what is done with your account.
- Give accurate information. Organization administrators are responsible for who they invite and for the roles they assign.
- Age. The Service is for adults and is not directed to children under 13. If you are under 18, use it only with the permission of your parent or legal guardian, who accepts these terms on your behalf.
4. Assessments and results are advisory
- A result describes how you answered on a given day, against a given profile. It is not a guarantee of hiring, promotion, performance or professional suitability, and it is not a certification unless a certificate says so expressly.
- Where a profile refers to an external framework, it is aligned with or informed by that framework; it is not certified by or affiliated with its authors unless stated.
- One sitting counts. In a selection process an item is sat once; the score of record is the first completed sitting, unless the organization grants a retake. A sitting you start continues where you left it; it does not restart. Outside a selection process you may repeat a public test, and each attempt is numbered.
- No hiring guarantee. skaills does not offer employment, does not guarantee interviews or offers, and is not a party to any employment relationship.
5. Organizations that use skaills to decide about people
An organization that uses skaills to recruit, evaluate or manage people (as the one that deploys the tools):
- makes its own decisions and is responsible for them; skaills scores and informs, it does not decide;
- keeps a person in every decision that affects a candidate or an employee, and reviews pre-screening flags, scores and AI reviews before acting on them;
- has a lawful basis for the data it collects through skaills, informs the people it invites (including about the use of AI), and answers their requests, with our help;
- complies with employment, equal-opportunity, anti-discrimination and data-protection law in the countries where it recruits, and does not use the Service to discriminate on grounds the law protects;
- is responsible for the content it publishes (positions, invitations, questions, documents) and for the people it gives access to.
6. Integrity of assessments
When you sit a test or an evaluation, do it yourself, without help from another person or from an AI tool, and without copying, recording or publishing the questions. The questions and their keys are confidential. We may void a sitting, and an organization may disregard it, when there are clear signs it was not sat honestly. We record timing, a device identifier and a hash of the network address to support that (see the Privacy Policy).
7. AI-generated content
- Many tools generate text with AI: reviews of answers, reports and narratives, CV evaluations, rewritten CVs, letters, interview feedback, plans. AI can be wrong or incomplete. Review it before you rely on it or send it to anyone.
- CV improvement and tailoring. Rewritten CVs, cover letters and e-mails are drafts for you to review. An automatic honesty check compares the draft with your source CV: it restores fixed facts (employers, titles, dates, education, languages) to what your CV says, and removes figures, skills, tools and certifications your CV does not support unless you confirm them; it tells you what it removed. The check has limits (for example, it does not check every name written inside free text). You are responsible for the accuracy of every CV, letter or application you send. Never claim experience, results or qualifications you do not have.
- Scores, salary estimates and recommendations are estimates, not advice on which you can rely without your own judgment.
8. AI Staff
The AI Staff page describes agents built from a skaills profile and a persona. Sending a request through it does not create a contract: we answer, scope the need and, if both sides agree, any agent is built and supplied only under a separate written agreement that sets its scope, autonomy, price and each side's responsibilities. Descriptions on the page are not a promise that a particular capability exists for your case.
9. Acceptable use
Do not: use the Service unlawfully or to harm others; upload content you have no right to share, or that is unlawful, defamatory or discriminatory; impersonate another person or sit an assessment for someone else; try to obtain answer keys, other people's data or access you were not given; probe, overload or disrupt the Service, bypass its limits or its captcha; collect data from it by automated means beyond the public API's documented use; or use it to build a competing assessment bank.
10. Your content
You keep the rights to what you upload or write (CVs, answers, documents, messages). You give CEMI a non-exclusive licence to host, process and display it only to provide the Service to you and, where you chose to share it, to the organizations involved, and to produce the AI output you request. Anything shared through a private link can be opened by whoever holds the link.
11. Our intellectual property
The Service, its software, profiles, questions, scoring engines, texts and brand belong to CEMI or its licensors. You may use them only through the Service. Occupational data from the European Commission's ESCO classification is used under its terms and attributed on the site.
12. Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties (for example Google, AI providers, e-mail delivery) and links to other sites. We are not responsible for third-party sites, and their own terms apply to them.
13. Availability and liability
- We provide the Service with reasonable care, as available. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or free of errors, or that a result will lead to any outcome.
- Business users and organizations: to the extent the law allows, CEMI is not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost profits, hiring decisions or their consequences), and its total liability is limited to the amounts the organization paid CEMI in the 12 months before the claim, or US$100 if it paid nothing. These limits do not apply to fraud, wilful misconduct or anything the law does not allow to be limited.
- Consumers: nothing in these terms reduces the rights that the consumer law of your country gives you.
14. Suspension and ending
You can stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your data (Privacy Policy, section 7). We may suspend or close access that breaks these terms or puts others at risk, telling you why where we can.
15. Governing law and disputes
- Write to us first: legal@skaills.ai. We acknowledge every claim within 2 business days and answer it within 10 business days.
- These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA. For business users, disputes go to the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
- Organizations that contract with the Dominican company: the laws of the Dominican Republic and the courts of Santo Domingo, unless their agreement says otherwise.
- Consumers keep the protection of the law of their country of residence and may bring a claim in the courts of their domicile. Consumers in the Dominican Republic may also go to Pro Consumidor (proconsumidor.gob.do).
16. Language
These terms are published in Spanish, English, French and Portuguese. For users in the Dominican Republic the Spanish version prevails; in every other case, the English version prevails.
17. Changes
We may update these terms. The new version applies from its effective date; where you accepted a version, we record which one. For significant changes we announce them on the site and, where you have an account, may ask you to accept them again.
