skaills processes the personal data you share when applying to a vacancy for the sole purpose of evaluating your candidacy. This document summarises how we do it and what rights you have.
Scope
This policy applies to the public job-application form operated by skaills (https://skaills.ai) on behalf of the employer posting the vacancy.
Data we collect
Full name, email, phone (optional), LinkedIn URL (optional), cover letter (optional) and CV file (optional). When you sign in with LinkedIn, we additionally receive your LinkedIn name, email and profile picture.
Purpose
We use your data to: (a) technically evaluate your CV against the job's requirements, (b) compute a compatibility score using the employer's criteria, (c) contact you if you advance in the process. We do not use it for marketing.
Who we share data with
We share your application with the recruitment team of the employer that posted the vacancy. We do not sell or transfer your data to third parties for commercial purposes. When processing uses AI services (CV evaluation, insight generation), we automatically strip email addresses, phone numbers, national ID numbers, and URLs from your CV text before sending it to the AI provider. Personal names and addresses may still appear; we are working on machine-learning-based redaction of those fields.
Retention
We keep your application while the process is open. If you were selected for the "talent reserve", we keep it for up to two years to consider you for future vacancies at the same employer. You can request deletion at any time.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete, object to processing of, and port your data. To exercise any of these, email privacy@skaills.ai with your reference number (APP-XXXXXX).
Security
Your data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (Google Cloud Firestore / Cloud Storage). Administrative access is restricted to authorised employer personnel and authenticated skaills operators under audit control.
